How your work is handled

We never train on your drawings
Your sheets and the quantities we read off them are never used to train our model, and never become someone else’s takeoff.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
The sheet is encrypted on the way to our model and wherever it sits while the takeoff runs.
Deleted once the takeoff is done
Caliente keeps your sheet only as long as it takes to answer your request, then the copy is gone.
Access is controlled and logged
Access to customer work is restricted by role, so your set is not browsable by anyone with a laptop.
Tested by people who are not us
Our endpoints are put through external penetration testing, because we would rather a security firm find a hole than a contractor mid-bid.
Your IP stays yours
Your drawings, your quantities, your bid: we do not sell them, share them with third parties, or use them to help anyone else price the work.

You ask, on your own sheet
The desktop app runs on your machine, against the Bluebeam Revu you already have open, with nothing imported or exported.
The model reads the sheet
To take off a set, our AI model reads it: that trip is encrypted, and the sheet answers your request and nothing else.
Markups land in your Revu
The takeoff comes back as native, editable Revu objects, and any destructive change waits at a confirm card for your OK.
The copy is deleted
Once your takeoff is back on your screen, our copy of the sheet is gone, and the only lasting record is the one in your file.

Being clear about the limits is how you trust the number.
You check the number, not us
The model proposes the takeoff and lands it as markups you can see, nudge or delete, so you square it against the sheet yourself rather than trust a black box.
Undo in one click
A markup it drew comes out with a single Undo in your tool, exactly what it added and nothing else, so you are never stuck with a write.
A copilot, not autopilot
Caliente does the takeoff you asked for and nothing else: it will not add markups you did not request, reach into files you did not open, or change a set on its own.

Where does my drawing actually go?
To our AI model, which reads the sheet to do the takeoff. That trip is encrypted, it answers your request and nothing else, and it is never used to train our model. Driving Revu and writing the markups back happens on your machine.
Do you keep a copy of my drawing after the takeoff?
We keep it only as long as the takeoff takes, then it is gone. Once the markups land back in your tool, our copy of the sheet is deleted, and the only lasting record is the one now sitting in your file.
